Description

Heinrich Tapp GmbH & Co. KG, located in Mülheim an der Ruhr, plans, produces and installs various types of technical insulation for power plant turbines and industrial facilities and supports clients like Siemens AG and MAN Diesel & Turbo SE in international projects. In 2015, the company generated a total output of more than 10 m Euro with approx. 100 employees. The joint venture with a longtime, local cooperation partner in Haridwar, India, will allow the company to accept orders of significantly increased volume and to enter new local market. In January 2017, the management applied for the opening of insolvency proceedings for Heinrich Tapp GmbH & Co. KG at the local court in Duisburg. On January 03, 2017, the court appointed Dr. Sebastian Henneke first as the preliminary insolvency administrator and on March 10, 2017, as the insolvency administrator over the assets of the company.  In March 2017, the business operations and the employees were transferred into the Heinrich Tapp GmbH, newly founded by HTP Maximum GmbH & CO. KG. The family holding HTP Maximum from Düsseldorf is an experienced entrepreneurial partner with an investment focus on medium sized businesses. The insolvency administrator mandated CVM Capital Value Management GmbH to support the process of selling the assets of the company. CVM has accompanied the process from the identification of potential investors to the transferring restructuring.
