The insolvency administrator of Meisterbäckerei – 100 Jahre Backkultur GmbH, lawyer Stefan Meyer, asked CVM Capital Value Management GmbH to help with a near-term sale of the company’s assets within a structured M&A process. Meisterbäckerei – 100 Jahre Backkultur GmbH, based in Mettingen, is an old-established bakery with own bakery stores. The company has more than 100 years of tradition. Until 2009 the company was well-known as “Bäckerei Bosse” in the region. In 2012, the company was renamed in “Meisterbäckerei – 100 Jahre Backkultur GmbH”. Bäckerei Coors, located in Osnabrück, was established by Friedrich Coors in 1911 and is currently managed in the fourth generation. The Coors group successfully operates a variety of bakery stores in the wider area of Osnabrück. Bäckerei Coors will continue the operations according to the longtime tradition of Meisterbäckerei – 100 Jahre Backkultur GmbH. After an intense search, a restructuring solution for the majority of the stores of Meisterbäckerei – 100 Jahre Backkultur GmbH was found. Bäckerei Coors took over the stores including all employees of the particular locations. The operational business has successfully been integrated into Bäckerei Coors in February 2013.
