Dr. Frank Kebekus, the insolvency administrator of Erich Sydow GmbH & Co. KG, has mandated CVM Capital Value Management GmbH with the sale of the company’s assets within a structured M&A process. Erich Sydow GmbH & Co. KG, based in Menden (Sauerland) is a medium-sized manufacturer of high precision die cast components made of aluminum or magnesium. Beside customers of the machine building industry and the medicine sector especially automotive companies are supplied. The company is specialized in the production of medium and larger quantities and employs approximately 175 employees. The newly founded company Sydow Druckguss GmbH owned by an entrepreneurial family which is involved in the branch of wire products, automotive and clean technology. With this transaction the company extends the own value chain. CVM Capital Value Management GmbH supported the entire process, from the identification of potential investors to the successful finalisation of the transaction. In August 2013, the business has been successfully integrated into the Sydow Druckguss GmbH. Almost all jobs were secured.
