The OPUS group is one of Germany`s leading maritime service providers in the offshore wind industry. With the successful operation of its own fleet of vessels, the OPUS group is specialized in the safe transfer of personnel for necessary activities (e.g. installation and maintenance measures) on offshore wind turbines. In addition, special services such as the project management of tidal power plants or installations of large-diameter GRP pipelines underwater for power plants, desalination plants, water supply as well as further customer-specific applications are also offered by the group. The active participation in major national and international offshore projects (e.g. “Baltic 1“) in recent past underlines the outstanding expertise of the OPUS group within this market segment. In August 2018, the managing director of the OPUS group, Bernhard Messer, sold the majority of shares in the company to Zeitfracht Investment & Consulting GmbH as well as SFO-N GmbH. Both Zeitfracht Investment & Consulting GmbH and SFO-N GmbH have several years of experience in investing in established medium-sized companies with high development potential. With this long-term investment in the growing offshore wind energy sector, both investors are aiming for a targeted expansion of their respective strategic portfolios.   CVM Capital Value Management GmbH was mandated by the managing director of the OPUS group to the search for suitable investors. The team of CVM Capital Value Management GmbH with the partner Kai Peppmeier conducted the entire sales process, from the identification of potential investors to the successful finalization of the transaction in August 2018.
